Hi, my name is Leslie Cathlene and I have been in and around the beauty and fashion industry for over 20 years, working in various areas from commercial, print and runway modeling to high-end boutique sales in Beverly Hills, CA. In 1991, I was trained by Taliah Waajid in natural hair care, locs, braids and weaves in Atlanta, GA. I am now owner and operator of my boutique salon studio, The Salon. Recently I completed my 4-day Sisterlocks™ Consultant certification training in 2020. I am excited to service new and existing clients. Sisterlocks™ is not just about changing your hairstyle, it's about changing your lifestyle.

The Sisterlocks™ Establishment is sold as a package of 3 visits:

BOOKING POLICIES
BOOKING POLICIES

CONSULTATION

Consultations are necessary for all services and the amount must be paid in full at the time of booking in order to secure your appointment. Consultation quotes are good for 30 days from the day of consultation.  After thirty (30) days, a new consult is required.

 

ESTABLISHMENT

A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to confirm any appointment for any service lasting two (2) or more days. Cancellations must be made at least seven (7) days prior to the appointment date to apply your deposit to a new appointment. You are only allowed to apply the original deposit to one (1) rescheduled Establishment appointment within 30 days of the original scheduled date. This will require hair to be remeasured prior to the new establishment date and the quoted price is subject to change.

 

APPOINTMENT DAY

All appointments are booked for the client only. No one else (i.e. spouse, children, friends, or pets) are allowed to accompany you. Please arrive with clean hair that has been shampooed within twenty-four (24) hours of your appointment.  If hair is not clean, services will be denied and appointment will be cancelled. You will be charged 50% of the scheduled services and payment is due immediately.  Future appointments will not be approved until payment is received.

 

LATE ARRIVAL

In order to respect both of our time, I ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. Please give me a courtesy call/text if you will be late.  Clients arriving more than fifteen (15) minutes late will be charged an additional $25 fee to their scheduled service.  If you arrive thirty (30) minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled.

LATE CANCELLATION

I understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I simply ask that you notify me at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the appointment. Cancellations or rescheduled appointments that are made less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the appointment will be charged 50% of the total cost of services scheduled and will be due immediately. Future appointments will not be approved until the cancellation fee is received.

 

NO SHOW

If a client does not show for a scheduled appointment, the client will be charged 50% of the total cost of services AND will be terminated from future scheduling.

SAFETY
For your comfort and safety, please notify me if you have any allergies, any physical issues or disabilities.  Clients are required to cancel/reschedule their appointment if they have any type of communicable illnesses (i.e. cold, flu, etc.).
